  • How do I make sure I get the best viewing experience?
    • The best viewing experience is still using a stable wifi connection.
    • If you can only use your phone with a data plan, you can set to the low setting for optimal viewing.
    • Click on the full screen button at the lower right side of the player to enlarge the player to full screen.
  • I’m done watching a movie. How do I see the rest of the films?
    • Click on the Daang Dokyu logo at the top left to return to the home page.
  • I keep seeing Access Denied when I go to the site, how do I get access?
    • Check if you’re using VPN, turn it off to watch the film.
  • The page doesn’t seem to show up, what do I do?
    • If page is not loading, close your browser, check internet connection and relaunch website.
    • If videos are not loading, close your browser, check the internet connection and relaunch website.
  • How can Daang Dokyu screen all these documentaries for free?
    • Daang Dokyu is organized by FilDocs (Filipino Documentary Society), a non-profit organization who was able to apply for grants and support from the National Commission on Culture and the Arts, the Office of Senator Loren Legarda, Probe Media Foundation, Purin Foundation and Tokyo Docs.
    • We’re giving you all these films for 7 days for free, please don’t download. Please don’t copy the films. That’s bad. #NoToPiracy.
  • I just saw a film I can’t get out my mind, is there a way to reach out to the filmmaker?
    • That’s what we’re hoping for, documentaries tend to do that. So please share your thoughts and reviews. Don’t forget #daangdokyu.
    • If you’re really keen on contacting the people behind a certain film, DD may no longer have any contact with some of the documentarists who made the old films but a quick message in our Facebook page or shoot an e-mail to us at info@daangdokyu.ph. Give us 24 to 48 hours to get back to you!
